Type 5kV SHD-GC Trailing Cable for Mining Use 3/C 4AWG 2AWG rubber power cord

Application: Type 5KV SHD-GC is for use in heavy duty medium voltage service as a power supply cable for: mobile and portable mining equipment, loaders, drag lines, shovels, dredges and drills, where flex life is required and for systems that require an internal ground check conductor, for added safety. Type 15KV SHD-GC is for applications up to 15,000 volts and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C.

Conductors: Type 5KV SHD-GC has a flexible strand soft drawn bare copper conductor.

Insulation: Type 5KV SHD-GC has ethylene propylene rubber EPR insulation.

Shield: Type 5KV SHD-GC has a 60% minimum coverage tinned copper/polyamide braid applied over each conductor.

Jacket: Type 5KV SHD-GC has a heavy duty reinforced mold cured jacket, which is water, chemical, sunlight and abrasion resistant.
